	i.	Elihu ALDERMAN741 was born on 3 Feb 1741. 1740/1741: Elihu the son of William Alderman Jr was born Feb 3, 1740/41" SIMSBURY RECORDS p 96 [199. He died on 9 Jul 1759. Elihu fought in the French and Indian War during the years 1756, 1757 and 1758, and died while in the service. he left a nuncupative will dated July 9, 1759, in which he gave his gun and powder horn to his brother Elisha. He also made bequests to his grandmother Rachel, and sisters Rachel, Mary and Patience. The grandmother, Rachel, may have been Elihu's maternal grandmother. 1755? Apr 24: ELIHU ALDERMAN enlisted under Capt Holcomb, of Simsbury, Hartford, CT, 8th Company, First Reg't.. He was discharged Oct 8.
