That's a BIG photo studio!!!A group of twelve odd bodkins safely tucked away in the Redwoods in Northern California. The FBI hasn't found us yet, and the CIA can't figure out who we are... If YOU're not sure what the FBI is, look here... or the CIA here. Just don't tell them where WE are...

All About UsWe're a rather hodgepodge little group, ten kids, two adult kids, four +/- cats, one dog, one rabbit, one Sulcata Tortoise and whatever else happens to come round looking for food. Mom & Dad (Randy & Rachelle) are full time adoptive parents and emergency placement foster care providers, specializing in medically-fragile infants.  Dad is a member of the Monte Rio Foundation , is a director for the Austin Creek Mutual Water Company and sings tenor in the River Choir. He's just completed his bachelor's degree in Environmental Science with an amphasis on water quality and hazardous materials management, and is now job hunting (after he finishes up all those projects that languished while he was at school for six years...). He spent the summer of 2002 on a fellowship down at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, working with the Environmental Energies Technology Division’s Airflow and Pollutant Transport Group.   Mom is active with both the Monte Rio School and El Molino High School Site Councils, is Giving Tree Coordinator for Monte Rio, and sings soprano in the River Choir. Vanessa is 25, received her Master's degree at Saint Andrew's University in Scotland in International Relations, and is working on a teaching credential here in the US.. She spent a good part of August '97 in Namibia, Africa  with Youth Beyond Borders building a campsite area for the Cheetah Conservation Fund, and Easter '98 in Jinan, China with her cousin. While in college, she spent her time off in Spain, Ireland, Italy, Romania (teachingt English to kids) and New York. Sara is 18 and likes music,  dance, cheerleading, and mothering whatever babies are handy.  Katie is 17, likes dance , music and games, but be careful, cause she's a real card shark! She also loves arranging activities for kids, and is hoping to become the kids activity director for a Disney cruise line. Aaron is 13, lives for video games and playing with his brothers, and is on the flag football team at his school. Alicea is 12, blind and has severe schizencephaly with septo-optic dysplasia (I had to look it up, too). She's a real cutey, and loves music and the sound of the dishwasher... :) One of her favorite pastimes is being the metronome while the kids are practicing piano. Alexa is 11, and loves animals of all sorts,.  Michael and David are both eight (and good at it),  Their biggest joys (this week) are video games, soccer, sword play in the yard and snacks.    Meredith is 5 years old, and very cute, with Shirley Temple curls.  Everyone who meets her falls in love with her, as they should. Rebecca is two and she knows how to use it. Her favorite toy is her smile, which could disarm Al Queda if the military could use it... J.
