2b IMP AEMILIANVS PIVS FEL AVG  Bust radiate, draped, cuirassed  r. Same as above, but this is the listed variety.  This portrait looks a bit like Gallus; there is a wide variety of portraits for this emperor as you can see by the coins I have here.

Unlisted IMP AEMILIANVS PIVS FEL AVG  Bust Laureate, draped, cuirassed 16.1 grams

This coin has the 'first-issue' obv legend but the reverse is only listed by RIC as a 'second-issue'.  I have seen many of these, so it is simply an unlisted variety.  (1300)

Rev: PMTRPIPP SC Aemilian stg. l., sacrificing w/ standard between him and tripod
38 IMP CAES AEMILIANVS PF AVG Bust Laureate, draped, cuirassed  r.

(750)

ROMAE AETERN SC  Roma stg. l., holding phoenix on globe and spear, shild to right
52 IMP CAES AEMILIANVS PF AVG Bust Laureate, draped, cuirassed  r. A small but thick flan which is very common for Aemilian.  I have seen plenty of Decius, Gallus and a few Valerians on wide flans, but an Aemilian would be a treasure.
