Mouth Mover is a utility for Lightwave animators!

This utility was written to help RCI produce convincing character Lip-Sync under a tight deadline! The Lip-Sync technique and the way the Mouth Mover utility was used is featured in an article that appeared in Lightwave PRO magazine in the August 1994 issue.

Basically, Mouth Mover is a tool to generate complex image sequences to rigid timing requirements. This tool can be used to generate any image sequences, and is not linited to simulating speech (although that is what it was originally created to do).

The program is very customizable, allowing the user to redefine the sixteen "image buttons" at the bottom of the program... for a totally different set of mouths, or to represent something completely different!

RCI is an animation house, and is not normally in the software distribution business, but Mouth Mover turned out to be so helpful that it's being made available to other serious Lightwave animators. The disk includes a sample character, mouth shapes, and some example "sync files" to get you started.
