Pelvic Pain Help

This website is devoted to providing information about the Stanford Protocol a new treatment for prostatitis and chronic pelvic pain syndromes that has been developed at Stanford University Medical Center in the Department of Urology. This approach differs fundamentally from the traditional view and treatment of prostatitis and certain other pelvic pain syndromes. We believe that it is the most effective treatment available for most of these conditions and provides a certain group of sufferers with a way to help themselves reduce or abate their pain and dysfunction. The Stanford Protocol is described in a new book called A Headache in the Pelvis: A New Understanding and Treatment for Prostatitis and Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndromes. We hope that knowledge of our work will help many who suffer from pelvic pain and dysfunction.
