JOURNAL NOTES:   As various (hopefully significant) events and ideas occur, I record them in my JOURNAL NOTES. (Often LITERALLY recorded, on a voice recorder, then laboriously transcribed, by hand, by me.)

TRAVEL NOTES:   As various journeys occur, I record them in my TRAVEL NOTES. (Ditto on the technology mentioned above, although if we're overseas or disconnected I may just write with pencil on paper.)

TRAVEL TALES:   If I think anyone might actually give a rats-ass about such meanderings, I may rewrite them for my TRAVEL TALES. (Endless compulsive keyboarding, ferreting-out typos / links / blips.)

SITE UPDATES:   When we travel extensively I'm not always be able to update these pages. So I'll intermittantly post journey accounts to the bLog / WebSite which will be automagically emailed to the eList / NewsLetter which is available free for subscribers. And when I get a chance I edit and expand those accounts and post them here. Whew.

CAVEATS:   I attempt to write incisive, literate, entertaining accounts of locations, observations, impressions, meditations, inventions. I try to leave out the trivial, the redundant, the meaningless; I try to be fairly objective, honest, forthright. But I don't always succeed. That's life.
