Pre-Millennial Lyrics (1991-1999)

In the early 1990s I wrote a fair amount of instrumental music, which I'll try to render and post as MP3s Real Soon Now. Damn, I wrote a lot of songs in 1999, but lots of those were in the TAROT and SAINTS song-cycles, where the titles don't take up space in this listing.

Note: The following may express rude ideas with rude language. If such displeases you, look elsewhere. And these songs do not necessarily reflect the views, emotions or sanity of the author. Interpret them as you will.

ζ Zeta Phase: YEAR 1999

ε Epsilon Phase: MID-LATE 90s

In October 1997 I drove from the Bay Area, to Los Angeles, to New York City, and back, with various alarums & excursions resultant. I'd just acquired a reporter's cassette recorder, and I dictated notes and songs during the trip. [Read the account and transcripts.] This exercise fueled my further productivity. Now I sing and chatter into portable recorders quite voluminously, giving tons of material for transcription. Thanks, Dad.
In the early 1990s I'd just moved into a new house, was doing a lot of yard & construction work, and wrote songs during the durance vile. By mid-decade I was concentrating more on netgabbing, especially participating in and running discussion lists about weird topics. This slowed down my songwriting a bit. Quite a bit. Yow.

δ Delta Phase: EARLY 90s

In the early 1990s I habitually listened to odd instrumental music every morning and wrote equally weird music, realized on AdLib and SoundBlaster computer soundcards. One of these days Real Soon Now, I'll put some of those pieces online. Anyway, I was concentrating on musical composition then, not songwriting. Is the world a better place for this?
I was kinda dry there for a few years. But that last year in the old house, and the first year in the new house, seem to have triggered some lyricism. Or maybe it was just that the activity kicked my creativity into gear. Maybe.
Year 2000 lyrics have moved here.
