A jump capable ship designed to carry up to eight Pulsar Class Warp Fighters. It has low warp speed and STL acceleration, and is primarily designed to get Pulsar fighters quickly between systems.

Sensors

There are two sensor arrays, one facing forward, one facing backward. Each array includes an AESA (Range 4,500mi (45,000mi in space), Scan 33 (39 in space)) and a PESA (Range 1,000mi (10,000mi in space), Scan 29 (35 in space)).

In addition, the carrier has a gravscanner with a range of 45 miles (Scan 21) mounted inside its hull.

Communications

The carrier is equipped with Gravitic (range 10,000,000mi), Neutrino (range 2,000,000mi?), and Radio (range 5,000,000mi) communicators.

Computer

The computer is a Complexity 7 minicomputer with a robot brain, capable of piloting the ship. A standard array of software is supplied with the computer. There are 20 terminals, including several on the bridge, in the crew cabins, and in engineering.

Crew, Passengers, and Support

Access to the carrier is via a crew forcelock. There is a bridge with four crew stations (captain, pilot, gunner, sensor op), although frequently the carrier is flown with only a crew of two. There are twelve normal cabins (for the crew plus up to eight figher pilots), and four brigs. A total life system contains support and food for up to 20 people. The one common space is a 200 square foot mess hall (capable of holding up to 20 people).

There is a sick bay with one operating table, two automeds, and four freeze capsules.

Fighter Bays

The main reason of existence for this carrier: there are eight fighter bays, each designed to hold a Pulsar Class Warp Fighter.

Power systems

The carrier is equipped with a 200,000kW fusion reactor, and an energy bank with a capacity of 4.6 million kWs (sufficient to power the jump drive).

Miscellaneous

The carrier has a big ST 9000 tractor/pressor beam, which is capable of lifting a Pulsar Warp Fighter in 1.5g. There is a cargo bay capable of carrying 10 tons of cargo.
