Metric Mastery Power ==================== One who posses this power man manipulate the metric (i.e. curvature) of spacetime. This power is based on a combination of the Gravity and Time Mastery powers from GURPS Powers, with some further additions and deletions. Clinging (base: 20 points/level), with Attraction (+25%) Control (Gravity) (base: 20 points/level) Damage Resistance (base: 5 points/level) with Force Field (+20%) and Limited, Physical (-20%) Detect: Temporal Anomalies (5 points/level) Detect: Gravitational Manipulation (5 points/level) with Signal Detection (+0%) Detect: Motion (base: 20 points/level) Use the speed/range table, but SUBTRACT the speed from the range. Use the relative speed between the target and the detector. If speed is 0, then no detection is possible. Targets moving faster create a more detectable change in spacetime curvature. For the Size table, instead of linear size use mass; multiply the number on the size table by (75 lbs / yard) to convert from size to mass. (This makes a human-sized mass +0.) (Really, the progression should be different, since hitting targets is generally based on cross-section, or the square of the size, while mass is the cube of the size; maybe someday I'll make a table that takes this into account.) Distant signals will be delayed by the speed of light as per GR. Enhanced Move: Flight (base: 20 points/level) Enhanced Time Sense (base: 45 points) Flight (base: 40 points) with Space Flight (+50%) * Create a spacetime soliton and surf! Improved G-Tolerance (base: 5 to 25 points) with Force Field (+20%) (no 10-point limit) Modular Abilities, with Limited: Gravity (-10%) Payload (base: 1 point/level) with Cosmic (+50%) You have a small pocket of spacetime that you can access to store things. Only the weight limit matters, and the objects are not normally detectable (although the existence of your spacetime pocket could be detected by somebody with Detect: Gravitational Manipulation) Protected Power (base: 5 points) Super Jump (base: 10 points/level) with Planetary (-5%) Telecommunication (Gravity Ripple) (base: 20 points) Telekinesis (base: 5 points) with Temporary Disadvantage, No Fine Manipulators (-30%) * You can control spacetime curvature at some distances to move objects around, but you don't have enough control to perform fine manipulations, in contrast to normal psionic TK. Temporal Inertia (base: 15 points) Walk on Air (base: 20 points) with Planetary (-5%) Warp (base: 100 points) Jumper: Time (base: 100 points) Jumper: Timelike Intervals (base: 125 points) This combines Jumper: Time and Warp, but only lets you jump into your future light-cone. That is, you can only jump into the future, and if you jump a given distance away, the jump will take at least an amount of time equal to (distance / speed of light). Innate Attacks: Crushing, with Cosmic and Irresistable Attack (+300%) Double Knockback (+20%) is also particularly appropriate Afflictions: things that alter the flow of time
