Hi all,

My views on this matter is that one should get information from sources other than Andy before getting involved in this rather sensitive issue. I was a bit surprised when I first saw this note. It's mostly accurate but not entirely. Andy did try and get current info but his interpretation is where some of the inaccuracy enters the picture. I would not sign a letter like this as one is relying solely on Andy's word. The topic is one that needs more attention, funding and personnel. A separate letter... indicating an awareness of the problem and requesting information on how the matter is being handled,etc...to the director of CDFG may be more appropriate.
