Powell Corporation - Santa Barbara, CA - Artist - 1990 - 1993
Illustration and design. Creation of artwork for decks, t-shirts and stickers from concept to finished art. Additionally I would contribute to the art and design for videos, tours, trade shows, promotional materials, etc.
Pen & ink or scratchboard is what I generally used for the artwork but would use whatever combination of things it took to get the right look, including cutting intricate rubylith seperations or inking on acetate layers.
A clothing line was launched while I was resident so I also developed several fabric patterns for the line, as well as support graphics, tags, pocket art etc.
[ see the skate section of this web site for a graphic sampling of the decks, T-shirts and stickers that I made while I was there ]
Freelance - Illustration & Graphic Design- 1987 - present
