Paramitas, or “perfections,” are guidelines for Buddhist thought, meditation, & action that have inspired millions of seekers through the
ages. I wanted to pay homage by depicting each teaching as a goddess in company with a medicine animal & supporting tree. Their
nakedness affirms their freedom from social conventions, their timelessness, & the “nowhere to hide” nature of practice. Their friendship
with animal & tree grounds them in ecological Buddhism -Dharma Gaia.
