FIE Doha Firmware Chip

Eigertek is delighted to announce the "Doha" upgrade for the popular Eclipse scoring machine. This new plug-in chip incorporates all of the timing changes required by the FIE in their November 2005 meeting in Doha, Qatar. In addition, several "fencer friendly" improvements dramatically reduce the number of non-registering touches in foil while still following the new FIE rules.

The Doha chip is now included in all new Eclipses. Furthermore, all existing Eclipse owners are entitled to a free upgrade through American Fencers Supply.

Eclipse owners will be delighted to learn that the new chips are reprogrammable, and will not require expensive upgrades as a result of further changes by the FIE.
