"Stephen's award winning photographs have appeared in
the following publications; Editor and Publisher,
People magazine, Image magazine, Motorland magazine,
National Geographic Adventure magazine, Sunset,
California Parklands, Coast Weekly, Harrah's World,
Pacific Sun, Tahoe Daily Tribune, New York Post,
Marin Independent Journal, The Daily Triplicate, Coast
and Ocean, Tahoe Mountain News, and others.
In 2002, two
of Stephen's photos were featured in Editor and
Publisher's 'Photo of the week` contest. He also took
first place in the California Newspaper and Publishers,
Better Newspaper Contest, for a photo essay on the St.
George reef lighthouse. In 2001 he took first place in
Editor and Publishers "Photos of the Year", (a national
contest), for his circulation. In 2007 a U.S.P.S. Postal
stamp that was inspired from one of Stephen's photos,
will be issued".
