Church School for children and youth of all ages begins right after the Children's Worship Message during the worship celebration, during the school year. We are very excited this year to have started out with a wonderful new curriculum, Godly Play, which we began on October 1st, after a transitional curriculum was taught during September to introduce children to the Godly Play environment. [Back to top of page] Prayer Ministry We are getting ready to start our e-mail prayer ministry. If you would like to be in ministry by being available to pray for people who request it for themselves or others, please e-mail the office or contact Karen B. [Back to top of page] Youth Program, (grade 6 on up) Our youth program is comprised of youth from six local United Methodist congregations (Sebastopol UMC, Forestville UMC, Petaluma UMC, St. John's UMC in Rohnert Park, Christ Church in Santa Rosa and First UMC in Santa Rosa) joining together for one fantastic group of youth!! Meetings are usually on Sunday evenings. [Back to top of page] Golden Rule, senior lunch and fellowship group, meets two Thursdays a month in Epworthian Hall at 11:30 a.m. A hot lunch is provided for a suggested donation of $2.00, followed by a discussion or activity. [Back to top of page] Choirs Our chancel choir rehearses on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m., Children's Music Group practices on Sunday mornings various times of the year, when they are preparing for a performance - check with the office to confirm children's music group rehearsals. Lifters
is a monthly dinner fellowship group which meet most months for a potluck-style
