15-Key Custom Necklaces

These necklaces are 16.25 inches long. I can lengthen or shorten them upon request. They come with a traditional clasp. As with all my typewriter jewelry, they're made from vintage typewriter keys. They are made to order, with customized arrangements of keys. (These are not waterproof.)

The story of me.
I created this necklace as a piece of personal history. It tells my life story in a few typewriter keys.

I was born in 1939. My maiden name is Whittaker, so SWS are my initials. In 1957 I graduated from high school and left town to seek my fortune (I was a self-starter). I was married young, but went through an early divorce (that's my "back space"), after which I had to start over (thus the question mark). I then met Robert Storey (RS), and we set out on our new life ("tab set"), casting our fortunes together ($) until the end ("margin release").

This is just one of the possibilities for a custom necklace. I'd be delighted to work with you to design your necklace.
