Ali Farka Toure is included on Rolling Stone Magazines 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time list. The "African John Lee Hooker" logs in at number 76. I would certainly argue with many of their selections (or even the entire concept of their list), but I like this one.
He never used a capo on the gurkel — it has only one string! But he certainly used one on the acoustic and the electric guitar. And like most world class guitarists, his capo of choice was a Shubb.
