The ancient Jewish cemetery in Kremenets is extraordinary. It extends over a large hill, and contains many, many tombs. I had the misfortune of encountering wild dogs in the cemetery, which diminished the peace I experienced in this place.

The cemetery is much larger than it seems from these images. It begins several hundred feet down the hill from the area photographed above, and extends around the mountain rightward.
