Peninsular Malaysia Species List
This is a list of species observed during my visit to Peninsular Malaysia over the period February 3 - 21, 2007.
Each common and scientific name is a link to a Google image search for that name. This provides a quick way to find images of each species (if Google's search can find them on the web). "Sunda endemic" indicates a species that is endemic to the Sunda subregion (Peninsular Malaysia, southern Thailand, southern Myanmar, Sumatra, Java, and Borneo). Bird names (and order) are per A Checklist of the Birds of Malaysia by the Malaysian Nature Society (2005).
