Create and Format Table  Insert Images in Table

The Tables function of PageMill has many, many more advanced features which are not explored in this tutorial. The user is advised toward further experiment and delight.

Creating and Formatting a Table

A Table in Adobe PageMill is created by placing the insertion point on your page where you want the table, and clicking or double-clicking on the Table button in the Toolbar at the top of the page. When you click and hold on the button, you can then drag down and to the right to create as many rows and columns as you wish. If you double-click on the button, a dialogue box appears, and you can type in specifications for your table, if you wish. Type in the specifications you want and click OK. Otherwise just click Cancel. If you click OK by mistake, just click outside the right edge of the table. When the blinking insertion point appears, hit the Delete key. If it goes beyond the edge of the window, just click on the edge once and hit Delete.

Click once in a cell (or double-click if the table is highlighted) where you wish to enter text or place an image.

You can duplicate a Table format by clicking once on the border, holding down the Option key, then placing the cursor within the table and dragging the dotted outline outside the table. Another table just like it appears, which you can click and drag where you want.
