and pricing. The IT3 (Internet, Information & Instruction) emphasis
of this project remains. Note that what has been known as Telemedicine
and M)edical I)nformation S)cience MIS,
or Medical Informatics is now in
the process of being redefined by the twin driving forces of economics and
technology. Two current tech buzzwords are D)ata B)ase backed client
server applications running on the Web and Open Source code. But, energy, water, weather and the ecology of our natural and
economic environment supplements our understanding of the way
complex systems are thought to work. The focus is local to Sonoma
County, California and the West; but the perspective is global.
Google.com web and site searching has been added. NB, Google now indexes PDF documents. FrontPage 2000 and server side extensions are currently being used to good effect on some of the presentations published from this site.
