Singer/songwriter Chris Rowan comes from a very musical family; he started playing piano and guitar at a young age while growing up in Wayland Mass. Chris, with his brother Lorin, were signed in the 70's by Clive Davis at Columbia Records for their first album Rowan Brothers, a pop/rock duet.

Chris, Lorin and older brother Peter teamed with Warner/Asylum Records for three albums, The Rowans, Sibling Rivalry and Jubilation, featuring the brothers brilliant three part harmony.

The songs that Chris writes are based in rock & roll, but with intricate interweaving of vocal harmonies and chords reminiscent of The Beatles, CSN and The Eagles. His harmonic overtones intrigue and delight the listner's ear with the desire to hear more. His lyrics are masterfully sent forth from the heart, entrancing the audience in heartfelt stories of love and life's journey.

Chris is currently working on Swim, the new CD reveals a singer/songwriter of maturity and lyrics that will capture your heart.
