Information for individuals listening to my course lectures via podcast

Access to podcasts

webcast.berkeley (http://webcast.berkeley.edu/)

The course also might be accessible here: Berkeley on iTunes U (http://itunes.berkeley.edu/)

Access to current course web site

Classes currently being taught by me will have an announcements page and that page will have the link to the main course web site. Go here: Announcements Page

Earlier class might be accessible through my top page: Welcome to John R Wallace's Classical Japanese Literature and Culture Web Site

Access to course files

I have made some of the digital files available to students publicly accessible.

I have a fairly heavy teaching workload so it is difficult to do much extra for podcasters but I do try to set up a companion site to the bSpace class site. Podcasters do not have access to the regular class site (bSpace—they do have access to my public pages with the schedule and such). The shadow site has materials that I feel can be released to those listening to podcasts.

If you would like access to this companion site, please email mail (Wallace) noting the below:

1. If you are comfortable doing so, please tell me any of these things: your full name, what you do, and why you are following this course.

2. Regardless of whether or not you provide the above optional information, I would like include in your email this sentence:

"I (your name) understand that the materials I can access through the bSpace site that I have been given access to will be used only for my personal educational purposes. The materials will not be copied or otherwise shared with others."

3. Finally, please either use or send to me the email address you will regularly use for this class. The email address is what I use to register you, and give you access. In your subject line, please include "podcastaccess"(as one word, no spaces). I will use this to search emails that have made a recent request. It can take a while to response to these emails.

Enjoy!
