A slight communication gap put a willing group of sailors at the wrong point, ready to ride Frankenstiens, while Erik had put in a 2hr hike to position himself 10 miles to the south at Tomales point. Nuclear winds, an insane ebb from Tomales Bay, and other commitments made everybody else say no. I was obligated to say yes and did a solo session out of Dillon Beach. The Coast Guard publishes a boater safety pamphlet for the mouth of Tomales Bay ... it basically says don't do it ... must be a windsurfers dream spot.
