I was bred by and whelped at Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael, CA. I lived here with my littermates until I went home with my raisers.
When I got big, I came back to Guide Dogs for training. When I flunked out, and my raisers didn't take me back, I went to live with Jenna and her dogs, my foster family.
Once, a long time ago, I was a little puppy!
Then, one summer day, my new Mom came to visit (thanks to my friend Judy) and said she wanted me! Two weeks later I came home with her. She says I'm going to be an obedience competition dog!
Now, we go to matches, so I can practice! And I help teach class as demo-dog. I even got to go see Santa. It must have worked, 'cause I got lots of toys for Christmas!
In October of 1999, we finally went to our first obedience trial. Mom said I wasn't ready, because I'm "a little flaky." Boy, did I surprise her, because my first leg was a High in Trial! I forgot to sit once the second day, so I didn't do as well. Oh well, I'm still a puppy!
