APGR72 Week 6 Reading and Homework

Reading assignments are an important part of the week's study so please make sure you complete them. The weekly quiz may well contain questions based on the week's reading assignments.

1. Beaird: Chapter 5 (pages 153-188)

Homework:
Assignment 8-- interesting edge effect: Create an unusual or visually interesting EDGE effect for a photograph that you might use in Project 2 using Photoshop (or equivalent). Use a photo that is at least 400 pixels wide or high so the edge effect is easy to see. Save as a jpeg. On the same web page as the photo, please include a short step-by-step description about how you created the edge effect (software program, type of filters etc.). Your instructions should be clear enough that other students can duplicate the effect (Please look at the sample assignments below).
