I love toucans.
When I hear them I try to track them down. In the wild they look
like flying bananas. One day I was taking a shower outside of
the cabin I was staying in. (La, la, la) I looked over my shoulder
and saw a chestnut mandibled toucan feeding atop the papaya tree,
maybe 30 feet away or so.

I was elated!
I grabbed my towel, ran into the cabin, and told the two photographers
I was bunking with. Then, I grabbed my video camera and quickly
yet quietly stepped outside, half naked, to shoot the magnificent
bird. It moved slowly and deliberately, reaching down with it's
massive beak to take some fruit. Then it lifted it's beak into
the air and jerked it to force the fruit back into it's throat.
I love toucans!
