Yvette graduated from Santa Clara University with a BS in Psychology.  As a Psychology major, she made the Dean's List while holding down a very demanding job during her entire undergraduate studies.  Over the past several years, she has done some incredible work with severely emotionally disturbed children and has more than six years of practical experience in this area of work.  After graduation, Yvette  traveled through Australia for about 4 months.  She took advantage of a tremendous opportunity to explore this region while gearing up for her graduate studies in Psychology.  It should be noted that Yvette ventured out on this journey solo.  Presently, Yvette has nearly completed her graduate studies in Occupational Development and she is thriving in this environment.

Kevin is now in the 11th grade and has excelled in his high school years.  While taking honors courses in science and history, Kevin continues to swim for Twin Valley Aquatics and Casa Grande High School, and has established himself as an integral part of this teams.  He puts very long hours six days a week and many miles into practice, swimming distances that rational humans shouldn't fathom.  The result of this committed effort is that he consistently places high in the finals of nearly each event he enters on a regional basis.  Though modest about his accomplishments in the pool and in the classroom, the grace with which he travels through the water can be appreciated by the most casual observer.  In 2005, his high school swim team finished undefeated in dual meets and won the league championship meet. As a sophomore, Kevin finished third and fourth in the league in butterfly and breaststroke. In July, Kevin swam the very difficult Alcatraz to San Francisco open water swim. He finished first in his age group, 8th in his division (men's wet suit) and 22nd overall out of over 500 swimmers, including many world class and Olympic swimmers. Prior to devoting all of his efforts to swimming, Kevin reached the level of being a red belt in Tae Kwon Do (5 steps from being a black belt) and has proven his commitment and ability at this very challenging sport.   All the while,  his school performance is clearly outstanding.

Kenny (aka Buddy) is now entering high school and stays extremely busy.  Baseball continues to be his passion and center of his universe.  In 2004, he led his spring Little League baseball team as catcher (catching every inning of the regular season and post season) and was again named to the league All-Star team.   He went on to lead his regular season team to the Tournament of Champions and his team was the ultimate champion of the entire District while never losing during the TOC tournament.  His all-star team had an even more impressive run of good fortune. Ending up one tournament short of making it to the Little League World Series, Kenny and his all-star team ended up playing for the Northern California championship.  In 2005, Kenny is playing a highly competitive baseball schedule for a regional elite traveling baseball team comprised of top talent in the area for his age.  So far, his team has won or been runner-up in virtually every tournament played.  They went undefeated while winning the USSSA Northern California State Championship. Kenny's team traveled to Michigan to play in the USSSA World Series in July. Out of 62 teams from North America,  his team played 12 games in 7 days and made it to the World Series Championship game. Ultimately, they finished in 2nd place in the World Series. When not working on his hitting and catching skills in the garage, he has become most helpful with all of the ranch chores.  Importantly, he has been equally proficient in the classroom.
