Anyone can be a biblical
cosmologist
Throughout history some people claimed special status as
cosmologist-stargazers. If a shaman
could predict an eclipse with a circle of stones, surely he must
understand the planet-god moods.
Babylonian priests spent years learning omens, mathematics, horizon
astronomy and angular
measuring. Today's cosmologists spend years studying the
mathematical laws of physics, instead of omens. Since this is not easy,
only a few
scientists are supposedly
qualified to interpret cosmic history.
Not accord to the Bible!
The Bible
states that in the shamayim, the
heavens, knowledge is
available to all. There is no speech or language where the voice of the
heavens is not heard. Day
and night the heavenly raqiya reveals the work of His
hands (Psalm 19). Raqiya
means the place that is spreading out, being pounded out. Isaiah states
that it is He who
continually spreads out the heavens, who calls the stars to come out in
unbroken continuity, who
continually spreads out the heavens like a tent. Generations have
marveled at the Milky Way that bisects the sky.
Today's telescopes
reveal the visible history of how billions of Milky Ways formed back to
the creation era.
Scientific stories about the universe's formation are difficult to
understand because astrophysics is complex. Even
ordinary physics is
unintelligible to the masses. In contrast, biblical physics is so
simple that even a child can
understand its law, since it is not even mathematical. The Bible states
that the "creation is in
bondage to phthora" - fundamental change. The Apostle Paul used
together-verbs and orderly-arrangement verbs to describe how everything
changes. Things that change in an orderly,
together way - change relationally. Fundamental relational changes are
not measurable, because
even the measuring units, the instruments and the mathematical
constants change together -
in parallel. Yet we confirm biblical physics by visibly
comparing
ancient matter with local
matter. No perpetual motion atoms gleam from billions of primordial
galaxies. Indeed, we see
with our eyes that "ancient seconds" were vastly slower than
modern ones because
atomic clocks visibly speed up the closer they are to us. At many
ranges, we also observe
how galactic stars spiral out, without lapping, growing into huge
growth spirals as the properties
of matter keep on changing.
In the early universe,
we see chains of naked galaxies
spreading
out, apparently into galaxy
clusters. The dimmest,
most-ancient, chains are very close together.
At closer ranges, the
galactic chains are angularly farther apart.
This is a faint chain of primordial galaxies
from 
the Hubble Ultra
Deep Field.
This is the Markarian chain in the
nearby
Virgo cluster. Starting from the
lower right, we first see the fuzzy lenticular galaxies
M84 and M86.
Then a clustered pair of active galaxies, NGC 4438 and NGC 4435,
followed by another pair, NGC 4461
and NGC 4458. Next in the chain is NGC 4473. In the background
we see several galaxy chains with three or four equally
spaced
members. A
huge bubble of reddish matter is spewing out
of the core of the active NGC 4438 as seen in this Hubble
picture.
In the same 
Virgo
cluster, M87
actively shoots out a jet. This is a radio
frequency image of the M87 jet
. The jet 
points
down a long
string of quasars that ends six degrees away at
3C273. Evidently quasars
are highly compressed
galaxies because (1) their
light can vary in a day. (2) Strings of quasars
often end in miniature
galaxies or clusters of miniature galaxies.
We also see, at
many
ranges, the sequence as little globs of stars
come out, spread
out,
move out, accelerate outwards and curve around
as
billions of galaxies grow into huge,
local growth spirals. Sometimes this is an
orderly acceleration and sometimes we see evidence of violent
ejections. This picture is a combination of visible light and radio
frequencies (red) from the edge on spiral galaxy, 0313-192. Notice
that
the clouds of gas are much larger than the galaxy. The radio signal is
stronger and closer below the galaxy where a thin radio jet
points right out of the galactic core.
Biblical physics accepts what is visible as fact, that
billions of galaxies grew from tiny dense objects packed with stars
into nebulous
behemoths. Doesn't this contradict the 6,000 years biblical age of the
universe? Not at all! Biblical physics accepts what is visible as
fact. Every bit of
matter, as seen in clocks and orbits,
visibly accelerates throughout cosmic history. What we see is what the
Bible states about
how God continually places the Sun, Moon and stars in the raqiya, the
pounded out spreading out
place. Biblical physics does not use scientific
definitions of matter and time or
scientific mathematics to try to understood cosmic history. Why not?
All of those mathematical
things depend on the assumption that the properties of matter are not
emergent. Yet no perpetual
motion atoms gleam from any ancient galaxy. Furthermore, the Bible
predicts
that in the last days false
teachers will come saying panta outos diamenei - all things remain the
same in being. The structure of
scientific reasoning and measuring was built on the
assumption of a pagan Greek - that matter is
not changing itself.
Scientists are in the business of trying to
explain the universe with their concept of perpetual motion atoms. It
is not surprising that their
explanations are mathematical and
largely invisible. Indeed, the
scientific universe is 99% invisible;
crammed full of undetectable matter and vacuous processes. They even
claim that space
adjusts the frequencies of all ancient atomic clocks as the signals
pass through the void. Why do scientists believe that atoms do not
change as they age? They have to. Their system of measuring, their
operational definitions, their methods and especially their cosmologies
depend on their concept of atomic perpetual motion - that the
properties of matter are not emergent.
Using biblical physics, anyone can be a cosmologist
without even
using mathematics. All you
have to do to be a biblical cosmologist is to accept the visible
history of the universe. This visible history confirms biblical
statements about physics and biblical cosmic history. The heavenly
raqiya shows God's hand at work - His glorious power - doing exactly
what the Bible states. How could this be? We see with sight that all
matter is always changing its properties throughout
the history of the universe -
visibly. Biblical physics is confirmed with sight, not mathematics.
Think about it.
