On
Seeing evidence
Evidence is identified
and interpreted differently when
using different elementary assumptions. However, science books
do not
identify
or test their basic premise. Elementary science books begin with
operational definitions for time, mass and energy. Yet no experiment
ever isolated any of these. They are invisible attributes calculated by
manipulating various symbolical properties. The
scientific ways of measuring and mathematicating was cconstructed on
the
presupposition that the
properties of matter are not changing relationally.
Unlike
science,
evidence that supports the Bible is not
based on operationally defined symbols or
mathematical formulas. The
standard of evidence in biblical physics is
light (Ephesians 5:13). The Bible explains that the heavens,
the raqiya
(the spreading out place), teaches knowledge day
and night without words in every language (Psalms 19:1 - 4). Only in
the distant heavens can we
see the past, at many ranges, back to the creation age.
How do we see the distant
past? We see the light from long
ago becasue it is visible with optics at many wavelenghts.
However, we interpret what we see by
recognizing familiar patterns. When we look at a face-on spiral
galaxy,
we should recognize
patterns from nature. It may look like water spiraling down a drain; a
tropical storm seen from
above; nautilus shells; sheep horns or snail shells. A curious observer
may wonder, Why do
spiral galaxies resemble patterns in nature? How are such patterns
formed here on earth? A
ram's horn grows into a growth spiral with little ridges that mark each
growing season. The
growth ridges spread apart and get thicker showing how the horn
accelerates its growth with the
age of the ram. A nautilus shell grows exponentially as its
body takes up more volume. Every few months it walls off part of its
old residence and extends its shell. We can even count the
shell chambers to estimate the age of the nautilus. Winds in a
tropical storm,
or water going down a
drain, accelerate as they move inward. All
spiral shapes in nature are
associated with things that
continually accelerate their motions or growth while steadily turning.
Are spiral galaxies
growing or do the stars accelerate inwards like a tropical storm?
The universe is
so vast and the voids between galaxy
clusters are so devoid of any obscuring gas
that we see all the way back to when galaxies were young. The
dimmest
most-distant galaxies
were naked and compact, like tiny snail eggs. Less dim, angularly
larger, galaxies are often
surrounded by distinct equally-spaced clumps. The clumps are evidently
packed with tiny stars. At many ranges, we see the history of how
spiral galaxies formed. Globs of stars move outward
one behind the other. The star-lanes do not close but keep spreading
apart as they circle the core. Local spiral galaxies have cycled out
more turns. The arms also widen as they spiral out and the
lanes become loaded with dust. Yet we still see the remnants of the
primordial globs at regular
spacing along the arms of local spirals. Billions of galaxies visually
show at many ranges how
they grew into diffuse, spread-out growth spirals.
This is a composite
of two galaxies. ** The larger is M51, a
nearby face on spiral. Notice that its arms are almost continuous
with dust. Clumps dense with stars are spaced fairly regularly
along the arms. The primordial galaxy is UDF 3031 part of the
Hubble Ultra
Deep Field, a million second exposure of a dark section of the
sky. It is set off with blue ring and inserted in the background
for comparison. The two galaxies are not scaled the same.
The primordial galaxy is greatly magnified. It has fewer turns
and the star clusters are distinct
and separate. The clumps of primordial stars are not obscured by
dust as they are in the local galaxy. Both galaxies have a
sibling
galaxy at the end of one arm. Evidently M51 used to look like UDF
3031 and grew into its present shape as stars continually came out of
the core and
spread out.
The observer who looks at the
spectrum, can see that
the primordial galaxies shone all
the way in the infrared. The light from
primordial stars shone at tiny fractions of local light frequencies.
When an observer compares countless galaxies from the primordial era to
the present, we see that every
bit of matter also changes its inertial properties and the space it
takes up as billions of galaxies
grew. What we see is relational change, as the properties of matter
change in an orderly way. Relational changes cannot be measured with
operationally defined units. Yet it is visible. What we see
fits biblical physics. We
even see a biblical cosmic history, that is, if we interpret the Hebrew
verbs and descriptive nouns
grammatically instead of scientifically. According to the Bible, God
continually spreads out the
heavens, calling the stars to come out in unbroken continuity so that
the heavens take up more
volume like a tent being spread out.
Visible
galactic
history violates every law of scientific
physics. No distant galaxies shine with
the light from perpetual motion atoms. Yet modern scientific
operational definitions presume
perpetual motion atoms. No clock in the visible
universe is following the symbolic
idea of time that scientists use. Scientists, however, are trained to
look for mathematical
patterns, constants and other invisible things that fit their basic
assumption that matter is not
continually changing itself. With great difficulty they claim to see
evidence that the universe is
99% invisible. Their universe is the most mythical just-so story ever
concocted by the mind of
man. They even believe that a tiny spec of vacuum exploded and created
the whole universe out
of nothing. Not a shred of light is seen from their speculative,
invisible matter and vacuum
processes. All of these invisible things were contrived mathematically
with their creed: that the
properties of matter are not emerging. Their
problem is they were
trained to look for symbolical,
mathematical evidence and to belittle visible evidence.
The basic principle in
biblical physics is visibly
confirmed in countless galaxies as the properties
of matter keep on changing and all orbits appear to move outward.
Indeed, we confirm a literal
biblical cosmic history with sight. What we see fits what astronomers
in different centuries measured with angles, an expanding solar system.
(Angles are the only form of scientific measuring that is independent
of the scientific first principle). Biblical physics uses
sight as the standard for
evidence. The scientific system uses symbols and mathematics to analyze
evidence. Please
examine your basic assumption. Your system of evidence strongly depends
on it.
