Bev
Buswell and the
Community
A
commitment of service. I
am constantly involved in our community in one capacity or another, from school
organizations to environmental causes to scout troops to political campaigns.
I was the President of
the Analy Band Wagon (the non-profit that supports the Analy High School Band),
an elected member of Site Council and Coordinator for the Great Books Program in
Gravenstein School District, a coach 2 years for Odyssey of the Mind, as
well as regular classroom and support club volunteer for the schools. I
have volunteered for Sierra Club, Sonoma County's Town Hall Coalition, Alaska
Lands Coalition, and Northcoast Environmental Center, as well as teaching
environmental education to youth. I am presently the leader of a high adventure Explorer Post of
14-21 year old boys
and girls and am a merit badge counselor of Boy Scout Troop 27. I have held
numerous other volunteer positions in our community, starting up many programs
that are still happily running, serving Sebastopol youth. When there’s a flood, I’m there, lifting the floor of the Community
Center or serving meals at the Red Cross. When there’s something on the ballot
that will sensibly help our schools or environment, I’m there at the phone
banks or painting signs. People who
know me know I can be counted on to help with the good causes of our community.
A
commitment of giving. With
every commission check I receive from a closed escrow, I make a contribution to
a project or organization that benefits our community. My minimum donation is
$200 per closed escrow, but I’ve often given quite a bit more. I have given away over five thousand dollars now to
Gravenstein School, Project Graduation, the Community Church of Sebastopol, the
Analy High School Band, the Bay Area Ridge Trail Council, the Rainbow House,
Ursuline High School, the Boy Scouts, Committee on the Shelterless, the Human
Race, Odyssey of the Mind, Graton Area to Stop Pollution, the Laguna Foundation,
the Teen Center, 4-H, local fire departments, Analy Boosters, Lyme Disease
groups, Sebastopol Tomorrow, and more. My
commitment to you is that when your property closes escrow, I will donate back
some to our community.
A commitment of service and giving
to you. Service
is the major contribution of most of our lifetimes. Whether it’s service to you, the client, or service to the
community, I take giving service very seriously. You can count on me to be there
for you during the difficult process of buying or selling property. I am a real
estate counselor, your assistant, your advisor, and the person you can call on
through each stage to give you the help you need. Together, we’ll be a team to
solve your real estate problem, whether it’s just outgrowing your home or
moving to a far-away place. My gift to you is as painless a process as selling
or buying property can be.
Western
Hills Real Estate, Inc.
and
the Community
Who is Western Hills Real Estate?
We are a local corporation owned by 3 Sebastopol Real Estate
Brokers that has chosen to franchise with Frank Howard Allen.
The benefits of being a part of the greater Frank Howard Allen Community
are obvious: name recognition on the sign in your yard and greater exposure and
support through the extensive network of Bay Area agents and advertising in
Frank Howard Allen. This will help to sell your property quicker! Underneath the
name, Frank Howard Allen, at this office are the same brokers and agents that
are a part of Western Hills, hard working folks that have been in Western Sonoma
County for years and years.
It's no Secret.
All the
“movers and shakers” in the West County know that Western Hills Real Estate
is there for the Sebastopol community. Our
office and our agents are known for donating time, money, and services to our
local community. We are known for
offering our office and telephones for phone banks that fundraise for good local
causes such as supporting schools or Palm Drive Hospital. We were the #1
fundraiser in the county for the 1999 relay for the American Cancer Society.
We annually support The Human Race.
The head of fundraising for Palm Drive Hospital was an agent in our
office. Another agent is the President of the Sonoma Land Trust.
The Presidency of the Analy Band Wagon as well as many other posts in the
important organizations that support our schools have been held by agents in
this office. Some are Scout
Leaders, helping their troops of youth do amazing good for our community.
Some are stewards, guiding people through our precious natural areas to
share in the awe of nature, thereby building the consensus to preserve the most
beautiful of this county’s wild lands. Some agents have rescue dogs and some
have sponsored sports teams. Arts
in the Community, Breast Cancer Research, Canine Companions, cleaning up Santa
Rosa Creek, and building the Laguna Park all have benefited from the hard work
of agents in our Sebastopol Frank Howard Allen Office.
This list could go on and on. On
top of that, the wonderful company we’ve affiliated ourselves with, Frank
Howard Allen, donates about $100,000 per year to local causes, as well as
organizes several campaigns such as the Annual Harvest Food Drive.
By affiliating with the Sebastopol Frank Howard Allen office, you support an
organization that contributes to your community. By affiliating
