vera and yves meneclier bundle up to ride their harley home.

vera visited san francisco for two weeks in the 1990s. she works in a travel agency. they specialise in european tours. they've started offering tours to russia. she and her boss are both learning russian. the funny part of this is that i thought vera spoke english with a russian accent, with russian phrasing, which is frequently without prepositions.
yves is out of work. he's been unemployed for almost a year. i don't know what he did before he was laid off. i mentioned being out of work for eight months a year earlier. christine asked what i do for work. i said i work on computers. she said that's what phillippe does. i asked phillippe about his work. he said he works in database programming for a bank.
