there were many canvases by monet, a prolific painter and the seminal impressionist.
we left the museum into the gift store. i purchased a book and some excellent note cards. returning to the street we retraced our steps and rode the metro back to ecole militaire. we purchased pasta and sauce at the supermarche and cooked dinner in our apartment.
