December and I have the itch to return to the neglected backyard. I tore out a lot of overgrown plants and removed a Redwood which was planted as a 12" potted speciman and had it removed after 10 years and a height of around 30'. My original intent was to plant azaleas and rhododendrons and the Redwood would provide shade....wrong. The Redwood became the backyard. Now that it is gone, I am planting with sunshine and less water usage in mind. |
