Salvia Greggii - Another deer resistant plant, this sage flowers from early spring until fall. Plant in full sun. This plant comes in several colors but popular ones are red and coral. It is usually evergreen. It should be trimmed back every February to bring back lush foliage and great blooms.Culturally undemanding, this plant tolerates a wide range of soils requiring only that they be quick draining. Just a bit of extra water during dry spells encourages more flowers. I grow this one, Dark Dancer.
