Another tip: Purchasing "Errors and Omissions" or "Professional
Liability" insurance is a really good idea if you are a freelance designer.
I had a client threaten to sue me because I didn't complete their website
project on time even though it was THEIR fault because they didn't
submit content in a timely fashion. Fortunately, I was able to refer to the
contract stating that if they did not meet their content deadline, then I would
not be able to meet the website deadline. But they could have tried to sue
me anyways and I would have gone broke hiring an attorney to prove I was right
without the insurance!
