Shook-Chu Chung: shook@sonic.net, 707-575-8873 Employment Objective: A position as graphic designer for web and/or print, to utilize my abilities that have been developed through previous working experience. Skills: Proficient in HTML, BBEdit, Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Image Ready, Adobe Illustrator, QuarkXPress, Page Maker, Microsoft Word, on both platforms: Mac and PC. Project Role: As the project designer, I designed the overall look and feel of the entire web site, including color scheme, graphics, typography and layout. I also created mock-ups and templates, manipulated images and photographs. What I learned from the project: I gained experience in web site development from start to completion of the entire web site, including planning, organizing and improving my skills. I learned to work with a real client and participated in a team work effort.

Being familiar with the entire creation and implementation of a website. The major thing I learned was paitence. Paitence for myself, group members and the client. When working with others proper communication and a good understanding of others skill sets is a must! I also gleened invaluable information on preparing proper bid and contractual documents to protect myself and my client during the web development relationship.
Jesse House: raptors@sonic.net 874-2947 Employment Objective: Just completed a six month internship at the Press Democrat and am currently working for a local web company, Soconet. Skills:Perl, ColdFusion, ASP, HTML, SQL, basic UNIX commands, some JavaScript and C++. DreamWeaver, ImageReady, Photoshop, InterDev, Access. During the next 6 months I plan on becoming familiar with MicroSoft SQL server, XML, and Java. Courses: Intro to Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Perl, ASP, SQL, UNIX, Access, Beg and Adv HTML, Business of Web Production, Electronic Portfolio. Project Role:Programmer, not much programming was needed for this project. I downloaded Matt Kruse's Calendar script and edited the HTML to the Designers spec. Implemented a basic JavaScript slide show and took care of various tasks assigned by the Project Manager. What I learned from the project: It is very important to communicate with team members and the client.
Shawn Bond: Shawn@WonderfuPlace.com 707-579-2508 Employment Objective: To expand my knowledge in the computer industry, while keeping a flexible work schedule to allow me to spend time with my family. Skills:I have 12 years of computer experience including 5 years as a computer consultant on Windows and Novell networking, hardware and software, and end user training. I have advanced skills in Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Windows 95, 98 & 2000, Windows 2000 Server, IIS, Exchange, Digital Dashboard, FrontPage, PageMaker, Photoshop, DreamWeaver and many others. I am currently learning Flash and Fireworks. Courses: In working towards my Web Content Certificate, I have taken Beginning and Advanced HTML, Telecommunications, Beginning and Intermediate PhotoShop, and Web Content Practicum. I will be taking my final class requirement for the certificate in the Spring of 2001. Project Role: As the Content Developer on this project, it was my responsibility to proof-read, format, and place the written content into the website pages for Friends House. I also developed the meeting schedule, team contact information, production standards, project storyboard, classmate testing form & results page and the hardware & software testing form and results page. What I learned from the project: The main thing I learned from this project is how complicated web development can be. It was also a challenge to work in a team communicating via email, rather than face to face in a regular work environment.
