Courses: Here are a few of the classes that I have taken here at the Santa Rosa JC: Designing Graphics for Web Pages,Microsoft Excel, Begining - Intermediate Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Front Page 1997. My degree is a cross between Photography and Graphics. I have taken all the classes in the photography department at the Santa Rosa JC. I have one more class to complete my AA from the school and four classes for my certification in the web delevopment. I am now sitting at 79 units completed, yet there is a desire to keep learning. Thank God for the Army College fund.

Project Role: I was the project manager for the Rohnert Park Historical Society. This was a major project for me and a role that I did not sign up for, yet I took the task in hand and ran with it. Linda told me that I could handle the job and that she knew of my skills. I really enjoyed this role for it let me work with some great people. If I had to do it again I would pick the same team to work with. The client is happy with the way the site turned out.

What I learned from the project: What I really learned most was to keeping all deadlines and listening at what was being said. I really had the chance to work on my listening skills. To work as a manager and to interact with the client, so that the team could meet goals of the cleint. A major learning skill is to learn to work with others, yet some people do it just fine. We all came together to finish this project and personal pride also played a major role here.
