Employment Objective: A challenging position to enhance my skills in the fields of Web Programming, Linux Networking and Software Development.

Skills: Obtained a diploma in the field of Computer Information Systems, Certificate of Linux Networking. I am working towards certificates in Java and Perl programming. With the knowledge I've gained I feel more confident to work in the industry and can prove a valuable asset to a company.

Project Role: I played the role of a Project Manager and a Programmer. My task was bringing a group of people to complete a project in a timely manner, accomodating different personalities and their mannerisms in a work environment. The most important to make our client satisfied.

What I learned from the project: I learnt to have a stable mind when working with a group under pressure. This project definitely enhanced my HTML, and Programming skills. It gave me exposure to the real- life work environment under a teacher to guide us.

Project Role: I played the designer, creating the look and feel of the sight drawing from the client her wishes and ideas. Then I made the mockups and the templates. I kept track of my time and assessed the design elements that we would need to make the site. Then I guided (I hope gently) the my team members when they had a problem with my directions for making pages. I worked extensively with our client. I created a test for our site.

What I learned from the project: I learned a great deal about making a good template. I found quicker ways to produce volumes of photo graphics while refining my skill at making the best images possible. I learned that I sometimes need a person to be an intermediary with other people. I continue to learn what elements of a project I can control and what I need to letsomeone else worry about.

What I learned from the project: Developing websites for a client is a complex process. I learned how to use cascading style sheets and ssi as timesavers during development. I also learned a lot about making websites accessible for everyone.

Irene Harper: too_peachy@msn.com, (707)544-4511

Employment Objective: Freelance graphic designer, web site developer, and programmer. I also plan to do database and SQL so I can offer many services to my clients.

Skills: I have an excellent understanding of HTML, photoshop, dreamweaver, javascript, css, ssi, cgi, FTP, java, and visual basic.

Courses: Adobe Photoshop A and B Principals of Screen Design Dreamweaver A and B HTML A and B Visual Basic Into To Communications Business of Web Art 7

Project Role: I was one of the content developers on the project. I created the storyboard and the shell site, made half of the pages, created the flyout menu for the site, edited a slide show for the site, and assisted my teammates anywhere I could.

What I learned from the project: The most valuable lesson I learned was not to promise a client what you are not sure you can do. This can create a great deal of stress for you and your teammates. If you promise it, and in the end can not succeed, it is you who has to go to the client and tell them. This could be embarrassing. I learned a great deal from Shirley, who is a very organized, detailed oriented, talented, and follows through with excellent end results, person. Through seeing the reports and project results from others, I learned a lot of information that will go with me as a freelancer.the
