Employment Objective: I would like to pursue a career in Web Design part time by updating/maintaining a smaller site.

Skills: Software skills include Dreamweaver, "handcoding" HTML, and Homesite. I have 1 year experience developing websites with various themes as well as being the project Manager on the web development team for the Santa Rosa Junior College. The skills I have learned include frames, DHTML pop up windows, CSS styles, forms, etc.

Courses: I have taken several classes at the Santa Rosa Junior College in Web Design and telecommunications. These classes include HTML beginning and advanced, Web Content Development, intro to telecommunications, several networking classes based on Windows 2000 at the Tech Academy, and both beginning and intermediate Dreamweaver. In the course of these classes I have developed several websites of my own for various projects.

Project Role: In the current project I was the Project Manager which means that I was responsible for the communications and scheduling deadlines with the client as well as the team. I was also responsible for creating the proposal used in this project.

What I learned from the project: I learned that communication is essential for people to work together. You must have a good communication plan with your team as well as with the client. I have also learned that while it is difficult to organize different people to work together, a good team is a blessing.
