Employment Objective: I have not yet decided what exactly i want to do with my computer skills. All I can say is I would like to end up some where in the computer industry.

Project Role: In this project i was the Content Developer. I created a shell site, help with the proposal, built web pages, and did testing on the site.

What I learned from the project: I learned the importance of prepration. Building a shell site was a big help when it came to making the pages. I learned what goes into a proposal for a client, and i learned how to turn the clients idea's into a workable project.

Project Role: For this project I was mainly the Project Manager, and to a lesser extent a Content Developer.

What I learned from the project: I learned a great deal from this experience. Alot more work than I though goes into making a web page. Knowing the steps and how to prepare will be invaluable in any related projects that I do.

Skills: image correction in photoshop, optimizing images and slices in photoshop and image ready, creating the slices for the HTML pages in image ready, using dreamweaver to build the pages.

Project Role: My role on our team was that of designer. On top of designing the splash, home, second and third level pages, I was also able to design a logo for this organizetion.

What I learned from the project: This has been an invaluble class, adding the element of a real client, to the process of web design. Being someone who normally choses to work alone, the team element turned out to be a nice suprise as well.

Project Role: My role as Project Manager, was to keep things organized, on schedule, and to keep communication flowing between the team and client. I also created documents for the web proposal.

What I learned from the project: I learned that emphasizing deadlines and following through to keep them met is critical. Frequent communication with the team is also essential.

Project Role: My role with the Sonoma County Area Agency on Aging was "Designer". My duties included designing the "look and feel" of the web site. I provided the client 3 page layouts (mock-ups) demonstrating different color schemes and page layouts. I also created the custom graphics required for the chosen layout.

What I learned from the project: Communication is very important, especially in multi- functional teams. Choosing the appropriate method (phone, email etc.) and timing can make the difference between success and just getting by.

Employment Objective: To work design, and maintain or update websites for people or buisness that are in need of one or need updated websites.

Skills: I'm experienced in Photoshop CS2, along with Illustrator CS2, InDesign, Flash 8, alittle bit of Dreamweaver 8, HTML, Web Design, alittle bit of CSS (working on it).

Courses: Photoshop, Illustrator A & B, HTML 1 & 2, Silk Screening, Introduction to Flash, Computer Based Graphic Design.

Project Role: I was the COntent Devolper. My job was to work with the coding for the pages of the website. And also create the storyboard and shell site.

What I learned from the project: I learned about validationg and building a shell site for a website. I found the shell site to be very helpful when it came to putting in all of the code into the template for the website. And also I have never thought aobut using a validtor for my webpages. After using that, I use it all of the time for my sites.

What I learned from the project: I learned the importance of planning, starting a project with specific goals and objectives. I also learned that communication with the client and team members is essential to keep everybody informed and to keep the project on time. Good communication could save a lot of time and it could avoid a lot of changes at the end of the project. I learned that it is very important to listen to the clients ideas and necessities.

Employment Objective: I am building an E-Commerce web site to sell my pillows and blankets in an online store that will link to many other crafters.

Skills: I am certified in: Web Graphic Design, Photoshop, HTML, and soon Illustrator and Dreamweaver. I will get my Microsoft Office Specialist Certificate in the fall. I enjoy using all the time saving features of all the programs such at macros, automations, actions and formulas. I have built and maintain a small business.

Courses: I have completed 91 units mostly from the Computer Information Science Department (CIS) and the Business Office Technology Department (BOT). I will finish my adobe classes with InDesign and Acrobat in the fall. I have also taken English 1A, Creative writing, filing, and writing stagegies to improve my writing skills.

Project Role: I was project manager for the second time and really enjoy keeping a project on task. I am very organized and like being the boss! To control stress I always get things done ahead of time and it was a pleasure to work with a team that also liked to have the task done.

What I learned from the project: I learned more about working in real life situations with real people. Listening to the other teams experiences and remembering my last experience taught me what the real world web design is all about. I like the experience and all the people I've met and worked with.

What I learned from the project: I utilized several new skills that I researched and taught myself in order to achieve the clients goals. * Wrote several Cascading Stylesheets (CSS) * Studied & adapted Javascripts to trigger the rollover events image slide shows * Used Server-Side Includes (SSI) to reduce file-size and simplify updates * Enhanced the online forms using Phormail.PHP to validate required fields, send confirmation emails, and trigger thank you pop-up windows.

Project Role: My role for this project was the Content Developer. In that role, I developed the shell site (content and site section prototype) and wrote up the Deliverables secion of the project contract. I also helped add keywords to the main pages in the site.

What I learned from the project: Test early and test often! The client who is paying for the project may not know what the users (target audience) wants and/or needs. A sensible structure and reasonable decision-making arrangement are crucial to an effective, smooth-running team.
