Employment Objective: Seeking a part-time position as a Graphic Designer, preferably telecommuting.

Skills: Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter, and Dreamweaver. Also competent with MS Office including Access. Comfortable with Mac or PC and familiar with Unix.

Courses: Graphics Courses: Computer Graphics Concepts, Graphics for the Web-1&2, Photoshop-1&2, Principles of Screen Design, Fractal Painter, Graphics with Illustrator. Other Coursework: HTML-1&2, Intro to Programming, Unix-1&2, Access, Intro to SQL, Intro to Telecommunications.

Project Role: Graphic Designer/Marketer/Programmer. I created the graphics and layout for the site using PhotoShop, Illustrator, and Painter. Using hard coding and Dreamweaver, I worked with the Content Developer on creating/editing site content. I also downloaded and modified a customizable form to facilitate online membership application.

What I learned from the project: One thing that sticks in my mind is that every 'deadline' should have some flex in it. Never time things so that you have no margin for the unexpected occurrences that inevitably crop up during a project.

Project Role: My primary role was content developer, but I also contributed to our marketing needs.

What I learned from the project: It is very important to work together and do the job you are given and be happy about it.

Skills: HTML 4 beginning/advance at SRJC, Adobe Photoshop - self taught, MCP, currently working on MCSE, network support / administration

Courses: Computer Science Fundamentals I, Beginning Web Design, Advance Web Design

Project Role: My role for he project was Project Manager. I maintained communication between us and the client as well as communication within the team. I kept the team focused on time line issues with the client project and classroom assignments. As project manager I kept myself availabe to the client for any questions and concerns.

What I learned from the project: I learned that keeping a set time schedule of 18 weeks is very difficult. I found it challenging to trying to meet a deadline and schedule meetings to accomplish a task. During this project I believe I have learned to better manage my time.
