Edited and proofread website, initiated solutions to various problems.

What I learned from the project: Excellent lesson in Project Management: Responsibilty and stamina. Teamwork is a lot harder than it looks. Continuous, clear communication is vital. It's always easier to explain things in person. More of a challenge with online students where email is the main mode of communication.

Responsibilities included an overall site re-design; a Master Gardeners of Sonoma County branding logo; revised UCCE logo; page layout mock-ups (done in PageMaker) provided as guides for the content developers; class presentation booklet design; target market testing; close communication and cooperation with fellow team members and client.

What I learned from the project: It is essential to have good communication, documentation, and cooperation between client and team. The steps to producing a web site is a fundamental guide that I will definitely take with me. It is important to have a skilled talent, but equally significant to be flexible enough to change.

Conducted Client testing and training, facilitated communication between client and team, provided technical troubleshooting skills. Developed web site template and created web site pages.

What I learned from the project: People management and communication are two of the most important aspects of any project. I learned how important it is to have a detailed, signed contract before starting any development. I also learned how challenging it can be to motivate and inspire other people.
