Cary Chiu: cary_chiu@hotmail.com, (707) 591-0457 Employment Objective: To be a web master and related to a database also some of programming project. Skills: I am advanced in a wide variety of programs including Microsoft & Mac platform Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, ImageReady, PakerMaker. I have also other programming skills including C++, ASP (Active Server Pages), File Maker Pro, Unix operation system. I plan to go on to learn Javascript, Java, Visual Basic, SQL. Courses: Towards the web graphic design, Java programmer, Javascript certificates - I have taken beginning and advanced HTML, beginning and intermediate Photoshop, and Electronic portfolio, UNIX, C++, ASP, Web graphic design and Advance web graphic design. Project Role: I was the offical web graphic designer for this website, and project manager in the later of the semester as well as the content developer. I created the Business Administration SRJC web site from the scratch paper to the completed site. I designed the layout to the first, second, third levels pages. I used some graphics provided by the public relation department. Also, I created the template for each faculty homepage I coordinate all the other team helpers and worked with the client. What I learned from the project: This class taught me how to
deal with a lot of things. I understood more there are many differences
between the real world and the school work. I learned the team project
to be successfully completed not only need team members working hard on
it but also team support and encouragement as well as obtainable team
target.
Dana Van Blair: dlvblair@yahoo.com, 707-568-3655 Employment Objective: I hope to be employed by a front end web design firm Skills: team leadership skills, xhtml, SSI, CSS, PhotoShop 6, Image Ready 3.0, Illustrator 9.0, Mapedit 2.6, CuteFTP 4.0, 1st Page 2000, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Scanner Operation, PanaVue 2.0, learning GoLive 5.0 and Flash 5 B.S. in Business Admin with a concentration in Marketing Courses: I am enrolled in the Web design cert program.. and have taken all the classes that are need for that program Project Role: I was a content developer.. What I learned from the project: I have to say overall I learned very little. I did spend a good amount of time on the project but I was never faced with things that I did not know how to handle.
