Employment Objective: To gain skills and experience working with HTML and other web-based programming languages. As well as working with a team and unfamiliar software.

Skills: Experienced in Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, Homesite, and self taught in Image Ready. Work well with a team.

Courses: Photoshop 6, Illustrator 9, Visual Basic 6, HTML, Quark Xpress, Word, Excell, Design classes, DOS, etc...

Project Role: Content development, organization of the site, Determined that we could save 10k per page by making a header for the navigation and calling it to every page that required it.

What I learned from the project: I learned alot. The world of web design is ever expanding. I learned how to use Homesite, learned how to organize a huge website that will get even bigger once we hand it over, Learned how to work better with a team.

Project Role: Programmer: Used CDML to communicate with client's FileMaker Pro DataBase and a UNIX-based server, designed two databases (FileMaker Pro), created forms which utilize CDML to create web pages on the fly from FileMaker Pro database on a Mac Server

What I learned from the project: The importance of keeping programming within the client's scope and ability to maintain the site.

Employment Objective: Seeking work that would utilize and expand my skills in Web Design and Development.

Skills: Strong design skills. Proficient in use of HTML, Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator, LiveMotion and Dreamweaver. Good organizational skills, detail-oriented.

Project Role: Project Designer.

What I learned from the project: This project was a great learning experience. I learned to use Adobe Live Motion to create the two initial opening screens. I learned about working with a client who has strong opinions about the look of the site. This will be valuable experience as I begin working in real-life situations. The organization and planning that takes place before the actual design of the site takes place was an invaluable experience.

Employment Objective: I would like to work as a project or product manager for a company in the computer industry. Something that will be constantly changing and challenging.

Skills: Organization and communication, with 17 years of sales, management, marketing and customer relations experience and a BA in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing. Very strong in HTML, HTML problem solving, and graphic design.

Courses: HTML I & II, Photoshop I & II, Illustrator I & II, ImageReady, Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Freehand, Advanced Web Graphics I & II, Business of the Web, Homesite, and Power Point.

Project Role: Project Manager. Concentrated on keeping all members of the team informed and updated. Completed most of the administrative work and was the prime liaison with our client.

What I learned from the project: I knew going in that there would be much to learn. Now I know there is even more for me to learn, regarding interaction with programmers and their needs.

Employment Objective: I hope to work as part of a team in web development or in in-house web-related training programs.

Skills: Strong arts and design background, excellent writing and editing skills, developing web-based computer skills. Twenty years experience in customer relations, marketing, and sales.

Project Role: In this Web Content Practicum, I created the storyboard and coded the actual pages, mainly using the text editor, Homesite. I had the opportunity to input graphics, forms, written content, style sheets, server-side includes, and a Flash movie into the site. We created a text-only version of the site. I was introduced to password protection software.

What I learned from the project: I learned that is a prodigious feat to get a website from an outline onto the web, requiring persistence, patience, flexibility, and a capacity for hard work from everyone on the team. I found it rewarding.
