I'm comfortable with planning, design, content, and architecture, and I'm in the process of developing the contacts I will need to subcontract work that is currently beyond the scope of my expertise.

Courses: Relevant coursework completed includes Web Graphics, HTML, Dreamweaver, Introduction to Flash, Business of Web Design, Introduction to Photoshop, Technical Writing, Introduction to Programming Using Visual Basic, PageMaker, and Graphic Design for Non-Designers. Additional coursework completed includes Introduction to Telecommunications, Introduction to Mass Communications, Microsoft Office, and Beginning Access.

Project Role: As Project Manager, my role in the website development process was to guide our team to the timely and successful completion of a website for Tomorrow's Leaders Today that 1) met our client's requirements, and 2) provided the team members with a sense of accomplishment, and pride in the final product.

What I learned from the project: Hard skills alone are not enough to be a successful website developer. People skills, organizational skills, team building, and time management are also critical. When all of these qualifications come together, the results are exciting and rewarding.
