Project Role: Project Manager: I saw myself as the project organizer and integrator,chief communicator and negotiator,team leader, and primary laison between the client and the team. I supported the team members throughout the project and helped with some of the design and layout tasks. I was responsible for creating and maintaining the production site,submitting the project bid, compiling various required reports,and keeping the tasks on target with the timeline. What I learned from the project: Just about the time that you think everything is going well, something happens to burst that bubble. Patience, politeness, and a calm demeanor can go a long way to make things work well. Work through your frustrations not against them.

I like creating solutions to business objectives through the use of programming techniques, either for stand alone or web based use. Skills: Abstract thinking and visualization in solving problems. Versatile in Mac, PC and Linux environments. I have a working background in Illustration and graphic design. in addition to my computer skills and programming languages. Self starter and self motivated goal oriented worker. Created a multitable MYSQL database for the web based interview/survey. Used PHP to developed input forms for initial survey questions, and dynamically generated interview displays. Used PHP to develope a complete web based Administration application for the survey database and editing function for users. Used Perl to create an email response form to request potential interviews. What I learned from the project: Increased my knowledge of PHP and MYSQL and building a web based application. Also learned that in a team, the weakest link can cause a lot of problems and extra work for the other team members.
Darren Kendall: dkendall84@attbi.com, (707) 762-9162 Employment Objective: To become a PHP and PERL programmer with an extensive knowledge of the entire web site design process. Skills: I have full knowledge of HTML with a beginners know how of PHP, MySQL and Java. Courses: I have only taken CIS 58.54 so far in my JC career. However I have completed Beginning Web Page Design at Casa Grande High School and I'm currently enrolled in Desktop Publishing and Advanced Wep Page Design at Casa Grande High School. Project Role: I was the Content developer for Web 101. I received a template from the designer and I then pulled inserted the content into the template. I also contructed the shell site which was used to park the content until I was ready for it but to also show the client how the content was going to relate to each other. What I learned from the project: I learned important team skills and how to develop a web site with others. Before I had always done it my self, but this class really gave the process a new twist bringing other into the equation.
