I may end up helping to build more sites for schools probally on a volunteer basis. Skills: I sew pillows covers in many designs and sell at many craft shows. I also volunteer as treasurer keeping the accounts on Quickbooks. I am learning everything to help in my small business to make it successful. Also work in Microsoft Office alot. Databases, Excel etc. Courses: All 8 hour Bot classes, Photoshop A&B, Dreamweaver, HTML A&B, Acess A&B, Excel A&B, Illustrator, Telecommunications, Spanish, English 1A, Business Math, Small Business Procedures, E-Business, Web Graphics A&B, Dragon Spreech Recognition. Project Role: I was Project Manager. I kept up the team site, kept client and team on task, put together the proposal, and help keep the peace. What I learned from the project: I learned there is alot of work for the entire team to produce a web site. Many more hours than I would have imagined. We had a great team and really produced a very large site but we really worked hard. Thanks team! Project Role: As the designer, I interviewed the client to design a site that would achieve their goals. I developed mockups, graphics for site constuction, templates, did image manipulation and preparation, created a CSS file, compiled a client brief, oversaw the development of the site pages and contributed to the instruction manual. What I learned from the project: In order for a site to see its full potential, one must be gracious in accepting input from others and respectful when offering suggestions. Its not just a matter of having technical skills to make an effective Web site, but takes a lot of time, effort, communication and cooperation. What I learned from the project: When each person brings the best of what they have to a project, everyone has the opportunity to build new muscles and the result can be impressive...and very satisfying.
