My responsibilities as designer included: Designing the site, creating the graphics, building the tables and the shtml for the 6 main pages and the 3 success pages. As Project Manager I was responsible for communications with the client and within the team. I set up and adgendized the meetings. I kept track of who was doing what and by when. I sweated the small stuff! What I learned from the project: A great deal about bidding & proposal stages of the web design business. How to work on and with a team & ways to turn a clients "concepts" & ideas into a workable, original web site.
Valerie Brownrigg: circlec@pacific.net (707)462-5514 Skills: I have been employed in the past as a systems analyst and programmer for companies such as IBM, Bechtel, and Utah Construction. This was before PC's. I know basic, C, java (sort of), javascript, perl/CGI, html, Word, Photoshop, spreadsheets, databases. Courses: I have a BS in Mathematics from Michigan State University, 1963. In the last decade I've taken C and other computer courses at Sonoma State. At SRJC I've taken HTML, perl/CGI, photoshop, java, Business of Web Design. Project Role: Perl programming and participated in the site design. What I learned from the project: How to work with a team, make presentations to the client, and stay organized.
