Objective of Typical User Testing

Ask 5 to10 typical users to view the site. Describe below what questions were asked, what reactions were received, and what actions are planned after analyzing the test results.

 

I sent out requests for website testing to 15 potential testers and received back five; the test results are summarized in the following table.

Conditions of the Testing

The testers were send an email that allowed them to perform website testing while filling out a survey form.  The survey form was then sent back automatically by selecting a submit button on the bottom of the survey form.

  • Earlty on when it as being developed but they have all been fixed.

  • Under History, "TBI" was cited - yet I cannot find any reference in the site as to what "TBI" is. Reference to October pumpkin season and booth there are now dated.

  • The site, the students and the project were excellent. Friends ofTolay.org did more than we even expected.

  • I did not like the transition time to change from one picture to the next on the Home Page - I actually found it very annoying.

The testing process was through a web feedback form.  The comments from the testers provided positive feedback. The typical user targeted was either an SRJC student or someone in the local community.

 

The overall impression of the website is very positive!
